Throughout history and across cultures, suicide has elicited a wide-range of responses to include bewilderment, sympathy, mystification, anger, glorification, and moral/religious condemnation. This lecture will offer instight into global philosophical beliefs about self-death and how these beliefs have evolved over time. The objective is to expand knowledge about an extrememly controversial issue.
