Do you have questions about your personal healthcare? Begin the new year with information beneficial for your health with John J. McGraw, M.D. who will lead a five session seminar series on the different facets of health care. You may register for one, several, or all of the seminars.
Spirituality and Physical Health. Topics include religion/spirituality’s impact on physical health, “extrinsic” vs. “intrinsic” faith, specific religions’ impact on health, scientific research among various medical disciplines, and the effects of stress on the human body.
Place: Ted Russell Hall (Room 151) at Carson Newman.

Fees: $15 each individual session or $50 for five sessions.

John J. McGraw, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) since 1988. He currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Councilors (BOC) and is Chair-elect of the BOC for 2013 which elevates him to Chair of the Board of Councilors 2014-2015. He is currently a member of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the Tennessee Medical Society where he is President-elect of the Lakeway Medical Society. Dr. McGraw has lived and practiced in Jefferson County for 9 years with the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic. He and wife Ann are active members of First Baptist Church, Jefferson City.
