  Gary Crotty has been a Registered Nurse since 1977. He is nationally certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. He is active in numerous nursing organizations and has served as state Treasurer and President of the Tennessee Nurses Association. In addition to practicing over twenty years in critical care, Mr. Crotty has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care Practitioner-Cardiology and owned a clinic and educational consulting company. He is also very active in ministry. Mr. Crotty joined Carson-Newman in 2005.
