  Alden Starnes joined the C-N Math Faculty in August 2001.  His special areas of interest are Statistics, Real Analysis and Linear Algebra, and he has a passion for Dual Enrollment students.  Additionally, he plays intramural football at C-N, is the football PA announcer and serves as Deacon, SS teacher and 6th string pianist at Mill Springs Baptist Church.  In his spare time he enjoys fantasy football by managing the Cave ECG in the Blue Ridge Football Association.  He holds Statistics and Mathematics degrees from Carson-Newman College, Virginia Tech and the University of Kentucky.
