The Fain House serves as the residence for Carson-Newman's President.  Since its purchase and rennovation in 2008, Dr. and Mrs. O'Brien have hosted numerous events for faculty, staff, students; and welcomed many visiting dignitaries, missionaries, and guests of the university in their home and on the beautiful lawn of this Jefferson City landmark.
