The Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Collaboration and Leadership in Counseling is designed to further develop and broaden students’ knowledge, skills, and reflective practice in counseling, to foster collaboration across counseling specializations, and to increase leadership development in counseling.
The Ed.S. degree is designed for counselors who already hold a master's degree and wish to earn additional degrees in counseling. The Ed.S. degree is also for persons with specialist degrees in related fields who wish to complete additional coursework in school counseling licensure and other licensure areas.
Admission to the Ed.S. program requires a minimum GPA of 3.30 in former graduate work from a regionally accredited college or university.
The Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Collaboration and Leadership in Counseling and is not a CACREP degree program.
