Disciplinary Procedures

When the Office of the Dean of Students receives a report of misconduct, the University follows the Disciplinary Procedures outlined in the Eagle Student Handbook. These procedures describe the process for responding to a charge letter, Judicial Board definition and composition; Disciplinary Sanctions, and Disciplinary Appeals.

At times students wish to share information related to their disciplinary records with outside parties. Based on the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99), we are unable to share any information with third parties who are not university officials without that student's consent.

An Authorization to Release Information Form must be submitted by the student to the Office of the Dean of Students before information may be released to another party.
