The Dean of Students receives reports of misconduct from a variety of sources: faculty, staff, students, residence life professionals, safety and security or other departments on campus. When a student receives a charge letter from the Office of the Dean of Students, that student has the responsibility of responding to that letter. Students must call and schedule an appointment to speak with the Dean related to the conduct in question. The number for the office is listed at the bottom of the letter.
If a student fails to respond to a charge letter, a hold may be placed on their student account until they choose to respond.
