ONLINE REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
(e-confirm) for the C-N Fall 2013 semester is now available via C-N
Connect. You can confirm your enrollment
for the Fall 2013 semester by completing the process below:
1. Check your C-N Connect account for any active holds prior to registration confirmation. You must clear any holds before you will be able to complete registration confirmation.
2. Make any changes to your class schedule before confirming online.
3. Pay your account balance less financial assistance and any confirmable third party payments. You can pay online on C-N Connect, by mail, or by calling 865-471-3209 and paying by credit or debit card. (You must have e-consented in order to pay online).
*If you are a first time (student loan) borrower at Carson-Newman, you must complete the on-line entrance counseling and sign the master promissory note at www.studentloans.gov before you can confirm your registration.
4. Log in to C-N Connect and follow the e-confirm process. A demo is available on the C-N Connect student portal with easy step by step instructions. (You must log in to view the demo.)
If you are unable to confirm your registration online, you must confirm in person in the Ted Russell Hall building in room 209 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on August 19th or 20th. You will have to sign a promissory note for pending financial aid and pay the remaining balance.
If you have a credit balance and want to use a book voucher to purchase your books, you will
need to sign and return the Authorization Form. Forms are available online at the following link: http://www.cn.edu/administration/treasurers-office/books-other-allowable-fees
(click student form).
Parents receiving a PLUS loan will need to sign a separate form, also available at the same link (parent form).
If you do not confirm your registration by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 20th your fall class schedule may be deleted.
Financial Aid for students not confirming their registration will be cancelled. If you do not complete registration confirmation before 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 20th late enrollment and registration fees of $25.00 will be charged to your account.
Students on academic probation must contact the Life Directions Center to complete an Academic Recovery Plan prior to completing registration confirmation. Students who need to settle disciplinary issues or check on health records should contact the appropriate office(s) prior to registration confirmation to clear holds.
Please note our policy concerning class attendance: Students who do not report to class by the
second class period will be administratively dropped from the course(s) not attended. Students taking on-line classes must log in to the class on E-360 during the first week of class to be counted
as attending. Any decrease in registered hours may impact student enrollment status and may result in the cancellation of financial aid.
Students who have a meal plan must complete the registration confirmation process in order to activate their meal plan.
