Director of University Admissions
Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Services/Registrar, the Director of University Admissions is responsible for the enrollment of new students by number, and academic quality determined by university planners and program directors; responsible for the total oversight of admissions and recruitment procedures; for inter-office cooperative activities; for undergraduate and adult and graduate admissions personnel. The Director coordinates and participates in activities designed to introduce prospects to C-N and assist them in admissions and financial assistance processes. The Director of University Admissions represents the University (both on and off campus) in a wide variety of settings both professionally and personally. The Director maintains a high standard of performance in all aspects of the position and establishes performance goals for the department that will be evaluated based on job performance, enrollment goal achievement, attitude, and teamwork. The Director serves as Chair of the Enrollment Management Committee and directs the development and implementation of the Strategic Enrollment Plan in collaboration with other university departments.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required with at least 5 years of supervisory experience preferably in a higher education enrollment services setting. The successful candidate will have a proven record of effective leadership and management with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated customer service, sales and recruiting skills are essential to performing this job. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
