Carson-Newman University Business Department

Carson-Newman University’s Business Department is seeking to fill a tenure-track position in Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.beginning August 2012 or January 2013. The faculty member who fills this position will teach a variety of business and finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Associated duties are academic advising, committee assignments, attendance at University functions, professional and scholarly activity, and student recruiting.

The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in finance or a Ph.D. in business with a finance specialization. Candidates with business and/or teaching experience are preferred. Consideration will be given to ABD candidates who have successfully defended their dissertation proposal.
