Carson-Newman University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science. The position is a full-time, 9 month, tenure track to begin August 2013.
Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Exercise Science or a related field.
Carson-Newman employs faculty and staff who are actively supportive of its aim as a college with a Christian commitment.
Candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Exercise Science should be broadly trained in the exercise science discipline, ideally with expertise in exercise physiology including exercise prescription for apparently healthy and special populations. In addition to teaching lower and upper level courses, the ideal candidate will also be willing to direct campus based physical activity programs for students and faculty and direct undergraduate research projects.
