Carson-Newman University invites applicants for a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach Academic Skills Enhancement Mathematics in the fall 2016 semester. Candidates for the position must be academically qualified to teach college level mathematics including at least a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or in teaching Mathematics. The Adjunct Instructor will be teaching and working with students who need some assistance in preparing for basic college mathematics courses. The Adjunct Instructor will teach a total of five hours per week. These hours are composed of three regular classroom teaching hours three days a week and two additional hours working individually with students on math strategies, reviewing what was covered in regular class, and previewing upcoming math concepts.
