Financial Assistance

A Christian education is a terrific investment in your future, reaping returns in deeper levels of understanding, enhanced critical thinking, career satisfaction, and increased earning potential, among many other benefits both tangible and intangible.

At Carson-Newman, we're committed to keeping our top-quality Christian liberal arts education affordable for our students.  Our tuition and fees are in line or lower with similar colleges, and we offer a comprehensive range of scholarships, grants, loans, and other assistance based on financial need, exceptional academic ability, or special talents.

U.S. News & World Report has ranked Carson-Newman University in its 2011 edition of Best Colleges. Additionally, C-N is championed in the publication's "Least Debt" section and is noted as being an institution to which high school counselors direct students.  U.S. News researchers examined "loans taken out by students from colleges, from private financial institutions, and from federal, state, and local governments."  It reports that one-third of Carson-Newman graduates are debt-free upon graduation, which ranks the University in the top seven percent of institutions cited in that category.
