Net Price Calculator for Aid Estimates

Carson-Newman University is committed to helping you achieve a great education at a great price.  In fact, on average, Carson-Newman's gift aid is more than double the gift aid awarded by public universities while student loans are similar in amounts.

The College Score Card may also be helpful in looking at average annual cost. In many cases, our average annual cost will be less than other universities you may be considering.

So if you are considering a large public university simply because you may have lower costs, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), making sure to list Carson-Newman's code 003481.  Once we receive your FAFSA, we will determine the financial aid you may qualify to receive.  We process in excess of $40 Million in financial aid annually, so we encourage you to apply and see for yourself.  We hope to see you on campus soon!

Net Price Calculator-Estimate Your Aid

Prospective undergraduates may wish to use our Net Price Calculator to project estimated cost and assistance such as merit aid, resulting in a "net price" or net cost to anticipate.  The calculator will project potential direct costs such as tuition, fees, room, and meal plan, as well as other potential indirect costs such as books, personal items, and transportation expenses.  All figures currently reflect 2014-2015 estimated total cost of attendance to use as a guide.  Personal spending habits for travel, food, and housing will affect actual cost of attendance.

The Net Price Calculator should be viewed as an estimate of out-of-pocket expenses after estimated assistanceThe results should not be viewed as final, and you are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), listing Carson-Newman's Code of 003481, so that we may send you an official financial aid award letter.  Fall 2016 students will complete only the 16-17 FAFSA available January 2016.

Net Price Calculators are not applicable to International Students seeking enrollment.
