When Jeanette Draper Blazier says that Carson-Newman instilled “core values” that became the foundation of her life, she means it. Her commitment to paying forward what she learned and experienced here has included broad and generous support over multiple decades.
With her husband and fellow 1957 graduate, Dr. Kent Blazier, Jeanette has worked to support her alma mater by hosting alumni events, facilitating relationships between alumni and prospective students, connecting administrators to potential donors and more than 30 years of service and leadership on the Board of Trustees.
The Blaziers believe graduates of Carson-Newman can change their churches, neighborhoods, cities, states, and the world. As first generation college graduates themselves, they know firsthand what doors can be opened to those who live and learn here.
Please join the Blaziers by supporting Carson-Newman with a donation.
