Carson-Newman University established the Steeple Society in 1989 to honor alumni and friends who have made bequests in their wills/living trusts or other deferred gifts in support of the University. Among the many types of deferred gifts are: bequests, life insurance policies, retained life estates, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and beneficiary of IRAs, 403(b)s or annuities.
If you would like to become a member of The Steeple Society by including Carson-Newman University in your estate plans, we will be happy to work with you and your advisors. If you include us in your will/living trust, please tell us. We would like to say "Thank You". If you prefer your gift to remain anonymous, we will honor your request.
As a member of The Steeple Society, you will be identified as one of the generous supporters of Carson-Newman. A special luncheon is held each spring on campus just for Steeple Society members.
If you would like to speak with someone about becoming a member of the Steeple Society please call: (865)471-3232 or e-mail email@example.com
The Pinnacle Award
The Pinnacle Award is given to members of The Steeple Society who have made significant contributions of time and resources to the efforts of the Steeple Society and the University. These individuals believe in Carson-Newman's mission and have committed themselves to strengthening Carson-Newman through their planned gifts. Like other Society members, through their sacrificial gifts, they become an example for others to follow.
