Gift Tributes
Gifts are often prompted by a desire to pay tribute to the memory of a loved one or to honor an influential person in one's life such as a favorite professor, pastor, or family member. A gift tribute is a helpful way to advance the University while honoring a treasured life. Gift tributes do not have a limit or minimum. We will be happy to assist you in honoring someone that you wish to recognize in this way.
Naming Opportunities
Carson-Newman University provides naming opportunities through a variety of scholarships, chairs, professorships, and capital projects. Samplings of those opportunities are listed below:
- Scholarships: Named scholarships are $20,000.00 and those with criteria are $30,000.00
- Distinguished Faculty Chair: $1,000,000
- Faculty Chair: $750,000
- Professorship: $200,000 to $500,000
- Lectureships: $100,000
- General Program and Departmental Support: $15,000 to $25,000
